How do I win prizes on Gamevance?

As a Gamevance Member, you can enjoy unlimited access to our daily Tournament Games absolutely free. Play your favorite games and get the high score to win a cool prize. Each Gamevance Member is eligible to win a new prize from Gamevance every 45 days. (Eligible players must be 18+ years of age, see official rules for details).

I've received an email stating that I won, what do I do now?
If you have not already done so, please upload a photo of yourself to your Gamevance profile to be eligible to receive your prize. You will have 7 Days to make this change. Here are the rules for valid default photos in your profile:
(Please do not upload any pictures to us for this step)
• Photos may not contain nudity, sexually explicit content, violent or offensive material, or copyrighted-images.
• Do not load images of other people without their permission.
• May not contain more than 1 person in the picture.
• Must be large enough to view your face.
• Must be a recent picture (no baby pictures allowed).

You will forfeit your prize if your picture is not a valid picture.

Please type in all the necessary information in your account settings. Once you have typed in all your information, please call 1-866-638-4441 from the phone number that you registered with and leave a message with the following information:
1) First name, Last name
2) Gamevance username
3) Shipping address
4) Prize
5) Game won and winning date
If we do not have your information in the system, we will not be able to verify your phone call.

If the phone number does not match the phone you registered with, you will be ineligible to receive the prize.

You have 7 days to update all your information in your profile and make your confirmation call.
If you are a first-time winner, you also must submit to Gamevance a copy of your valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID (such as a driver's license, state ID card, or passport). You have 7 days to submit your ID to prizes@gamevance.com.

Why is Gamevance asking for a copy of my ID to confirm my prize?
We require a valid form of ID to ensure each winner is at least 18 years or older and to reduce the amount of cheaters in the system. In order to enforce our rules and ensure that only valid winners are receiving prizes we require a valid form of ID.

How long does it take to get my prize?
The prize is sent between 30-60 days.

I did not get my confirmation email, what do I do?
Please check your email spam/bulk folder. Sometimes our email is found in these folders.

If you can't locate the confirmation email, you may then email confirmation@gamevance.com (from the email you registered your account with) stating that you need to confirm your email.

When do you announce the winners?
Winners are announced at 12:00AM Pacific Standard Time.

Do I have to upload a picture every time I win a prize?
Yes, we use this picture to announce to our gaming community that you have won. It also helps our Customer Service team track that you have received your prize.

Note: We would prefer to have an updated image with all prizes received. For example, if you won a PSP in December and then a Visa Card in January, please show both prizes in the picture.

Why haven't I received my second prize?
You must upload a picture and testimonial upon receiving your first prize before we can ship out any additional prizes. You may upload your picture and testimonial on your Gamevance account.

Will you call to verify my information each time I win?
We no longer make verification calls. All accounts will be verified by having the user calling:

How many times can I win?
You will be eligible to win 1 prize every 45 days from your previous win.

I'm under 18 years of age; can I use someone else's information to get my prize?
You will not be awarded a prize if you are under 18 years of age. Additionally, if you use the identity of another person, you will automatically forfeit your prize.

I live outside the United States. Can you send my prize to my family member or friend who lives in the US?
No. Only players who live inside the United States and are playing from inside the United States are eligible to win prizes. We will only send prizes to the winner's address.

Do you send an email notification when my prize has been shipped?
Yes, a notification email will be sent with a tracking number, shipping date and delivery confirmation.

Which company do you use to ship prizes?
We use FedEx to ship all prizes. We use 2-day priority mail and FedEx requires a direct signature. FedEx will make three attempts to deliver your package before returning it back to us. Once a prize is returned to us, we will not make another attempt to send you your prize.

How long do I have to upload in my picture and testimonial?
All pictures and testimonials must be uploaded within two weeks of receiving your prize. If we do not receive them by then, you risk losing eligibility for additional prizes.

*Digital pictures are preferred. Please upload all pictures and testimonials on your Gamevance account.

Where do I upload my testimonial and picture with my prize?
Please upload your testimonial and picture on your Gamevance account.

What if my prize is damaged when I receive it?
If the prize is damaged when FedEx delivers it, please notify FedEx and Gamevance immediately. Contact prizes@gamevance.com for any damaged prizes.

How do I activate my Visa Card?
The Visa Gift Card pin number is the last four digits of your phone number as listed in your account info.

I called the toll free number, but I keep getting a voicemail. How do I speak with a real person?
1-866-638-4441 is an automated voicemail system. All of the messages are checked in real-time. In order to receive a call back, you MUST leave the following information:

1) First and Last Name
2) Gamevance Username
3) Phone Number
4) Best time to call back
5) Details of your query

Due to the high call volume, we ask that you give our Customer Services team at least 24 business hours to return your call. If you have a technical support issue, please email info@gamevance.com. This is the best way to get your technical support query resolved.

I received a prize in November, then I won again in December and January; however I never uploaded a picture and testimonial for any of my prizes. If I uploaded a picture and testimonial tomorrow (two months later) will you still ship my prizes?
No. All pictures and testimonials must be uploaded within two weeks of receiving your prize or you will automatically forfeit your prize(s). However, if you upload your picture and testimonial for the last prize received, you will again be eligible to receive future winnings.

I reported a cheater to Gamevance. How do I know if I will be receiving a prize?
Only the first player to report a cheater will receive a prize. We will send an email to the first player who reports a cheater with instructions for how to claim their prize.

How do I challenge another player on Gamevance?
You may challenge any player to a challenge, as long as that player is at Bronze level or higher. Go to the player's profile page, and click on the Challenge button. Select the game you would like to play, and click the Send Challenge button. If the challenge is accepted, both players have until 12:00PM to play the challenge game.

I just joined Gamevance. When will I be able to challenge other players?
You must have been a member for at least 45 days before you will reach Bronze level. Once you reach Bronze level, you will be able to challenge other players.

How do I uninstall the game?
Please follow the instructions at: http://www.gamevance.com/deactivate.php.

I forget my password, how do I retrieve it?
If you've forgotten or misplaced your password, we can send you an email with that information. On the login page, type your username, click "forget password" and we will send an email with your password to the same email you used to set-up your account. If you do not receive this email, please send an email to info@gamevance.com from the email you used to set up your account, requesting your password.

How do I change my password?
Log into your Gamevance account using your current password. Go to Account Settings in the menu on the left side of the page. Click the Update Info button at the bottom of the page.

Enter your new password.
Click Submit Info, and your password will be changed.

Your new password can only contain the following characters:
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyzABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789
SPACE _-+=@!?%#&*^[]{}|/:;,.$

How do I change the email address associated with my account?
Log into your Gamevance account. Go to Account Settings in the menu on the left hand side of the page. Click the Update Info button at the bottom of the page. Enter your new email address. Click Submit Info, and your email address will be changed.

How do I resize my screen to see all the games?
Right-click on your desktop, choose Properties, Click on the Settings tab, and slide the Screen Resolution slider to 1024 x 768. Click Apply. Warning: Some monitors or video card may not handle this resolution, and will not have an option higher than 800 x 600.

Note: 1024x768 is only a minimum recommended resolution, but you may change your resolution to a higher resolution as you see fit.

I get a red X at the top of the page where the games are supposed to be. How do I get the games to show up?
You must have Macromedia Flash Player installed on your computer to play these games. You may download them HERE.

I have a Macintosh computer, can I install Gamevance on it?
We currently do not support running Gamevance on Macintosh computers, but are looking into future upgrades that will allow us to have a version of the program running on a Macintosh.

Once I start the program, I get a "No Internet Connection" but I'm connected to the internet.
Sometimes users who use Windows XP have a windows firewall enabled that does not allow Gamevance access to the internet. Please go to the following website to change the settings of your firewall to allow Gamevance to connect to our servers.

I received a virus warning while trying to download Gamevance, why did this occur?
Gamevance is virus-free, however we are a-supported and some anti-virus programs falsely claim Gamevance contains viruses. Gamevance has been reviewed by TRUSTe and is certified for having safe downloads: http://www.truste.org/pvr.php?page=validate&softwareProgramId=52&sealid=112
